  Overview
This March we will present the latest quarterly economic projections for the Nation and State. Additionally, the March 2011 conference will focus on Manufacturing and its role in the California economy.

The California government needs to support job growth in expansions and find ways to soften the job losses in recessions. Without some significant job gains in manufacturing, the recovery is sure to be weak and the State’s budget problems all the worse. What can State government do to increase the attractiveness of California to manufacturers? By bringing in key thought leaders from a variety of backgrounds within business, government, and academia, we aim to provide a comprehensive and balanced discussion of solutions to California's manufacturing jobs outlook.
